Hand-carved in walnut during the 1700s, these library stairs from Northern Italy have six highly fretted steps. The ornate tracery continues on the side rails and the X-shaped stretcher on the back.

CONDITION: Good antique condition. Old restorations, most noticeably on the top step. Old woodworm damage resulting in light losses. Minor nicks and rubs.
