A fantastic light source, dating to the 1900s, this French wrought iron chandelier is reminiscent of works from old, Mediterranean blacksmiths in the South of France. Measuring 51 inches in length, the chandelier provides ample illumination, as the six lights are elevated and protrude well beyond the main body. Each of the lights has white faux candle sleeves rising from leafy bobeches. These cups sit atop large S-scrolls that radiate from larger scrolls that surround the stylized sunburst center. Two S-scrolls near the top of the main body rise up, flanking a banded C-scroll with a twisted pricket. The scrolls terminate high above, beneath an open roundel that forms the apex of the chandelier. Finished with a well-done oxidized patina, the six-light chandelier can be used inside or outdoors.

CONDITION: Good condition. Rewired for use in American houses. Light buildup. Fleabites and minor rubs.
