Standing over 10 feet tall and almost as wide, this grand French bilbiotheque also has elements of a vitrine and a buffet deux corps. Hand-carved circa 1900, the original finish has been scraped and stripped, leaving the pine with a warm hue. Three doors on the upper section, each with glass panes open to reveal five full-length shelves. The lower body has six drawers, each above a pair of doors that open to reveal a single shelf per compartment.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor age separations, with light nicks and rubs. The finish has been scraped and stripped more recently. There is a small missing piece to the top of the bibliotheque, which is not viewable for the most part.
