Dating to circa 1850, this French gilt bronze fountain spout is in the form of a dolphin. Equipped with an undulating T-handle that controls the flow of water through the 1 3/8″ inch opening that is formed by the dolphin’s mouth. The opposing end has a 2 1/4″ thick threaded end. Production marks on the handle read “A Macon” and “Gardun” on opposite sides.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor buildup and discoloration. Fleabites and light cavitations.
