A massive toile peinte, measuring over seven feet tall and about eight feet wide. Dating to the 1700s, the French painting depicts a stag hunt in the forest. The elegant verdure trees are offset by the bright colors of the hunters.

CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate creases to toile with minimal pinpricks. Small eyelets on top for hanging purposes. Traces of old restorations sewn into the edges, with very light difference in colors.
