The elaborate motifs of this silvered bronze jardiniere are quite impressive. Hidden amongst the heart-shaped leaves, flowering margents, and cabochons, is a pair of lion mascarons, located beneath the curled foliates handles with an open center. Dating to the late 1800s, the French jardiniere has a removable liner, allowing it to be used for indoor plants, although it also makes a beautiful decorative accessory.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate verdigris to the removable line. Minor buildup and rubs to exterior. Very light losses to the silvered finish.
