Measuring over six feet long, this impressive hand-carved limestone trough dates to the 1700s.  From the South of France, the long and low (under 10 inches tall) trough would have been used to feed or water animals.  A drainage hole has been carved in the back wall, allowing it to be used as a unique planter box in any outdoor landscaping.

CONDITION:  Good antique condition.  Minor nicks and losses.  Light buildup to interior, commensurate with age and use.  Drain hole on one side of the back wall (see photos).  Limestone can change color with exposure to the elements.  Please contact us for photos of the current patina.
