Dating to circa 1865, this oil painting by Jules Noel (signed lower left), depicts a towering cityscape of Medieval Europe.  The canvas, which has been affixed to a board, features dark colors of an overcast autumn day.

CONDITION: Good antique condition.  Very light wear to canvas edges, with minor craquelure and nicks.  Signed lower left: “Jules Noel”.
