A charming painted cabinet from Southern Germany, measuring 67 1/8 inches tall. Hand-carved in the 1700s, the two-door cabinet has a base gray color, with hand-painted embellishments in blue. The interior features a full storage set-up behind the right door, while the left door fronts two full shelves beneath a half-shelf.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor nicks and rubs, resulting in some paint losses. Light interior buildup. One key that operates a functional lock. The left door stays shut via a functioning catch. Oxidation to the key and the escutcheons. The cabinet has been refurbished and cleaned more recently, with painted exterior in accordance with pieces of this age.
