The six arms of this Italian gold leaf chandelier are supported by sprawling curled leaves.  The leaves terminate at the base of an elaborate lobed center column, all of which is covered in gold leaf.  Hand-carved in the 1700s, the beautiful chandelier would make a wonderful addition to any foyer or entry way.

CONDITION:  Good antique condition.  Minor losses to gold leaf, revealing red bole, which is a desirable trait.  Light buildup to bobeches from use prior to electrification.  Very light nicks with evidence of old touchups to gold.  Wired for use in American homes.
