Hand-carved circa 1900 in the style of Louis Philippe, this French bleached walnut bibliotheque has a very pleasing blue-green interior in both the upper and lower sections. The upper section has four doors, each with a glass pane, with four shelves behind each pair of doors. The lower section also has four doors, with a single shelf behind each set of doors.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Light nicks and rubs. The finish has been bleached more recently, leaving scant traces of the original finish. Four locks, but only the two on the upper section are functional (three keys included). The top shelf is missing a guide rail, but this allows larger items, such as sculptures to be displayed on the left side of the upper body. Please see photos.
