The remnant of a larger French gate, dating to the 1800s, this wrought iron fragment has a wonderful oxidized patina. There are numerous applications for an architectural element such as this, beyond incorporating it with an existing gate. It can be used as a garden trellis for ivy or hung in a kitchen as a unique pot rack.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate oxidation as a result of losses to finish. Fleabites and minor rubs. Some elements are incomplete, as this is a fragment from a larger gate.
