Hand-carved in Tuscany, Italy, in the 1800s, this painted credenza has a very rectilinear form with multiple recessed rectangular panels. The two larger panels form doors that front a single full-length shelf. The wood has a beautiful parcel paint finish of gray with tints of aqua, imitating the “French gray” that was popular in France during the 19th century.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor nicks and losses, with very light rubs. Functional lock with key.
