The wonderful carvings of this Swiss cigar box are in the style of Black Forest. Dating to circa 1900, the humidor features textured ground on the sides and front that is topped by foliate margents. The top has an elaborate carving of a bird standing amongst foliage, branches, and fruit.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor nicks and rubs with losses to the ebonized finish. Only one tray is present, with slots for 12 cigars. Included key is to be used as a pull, as the lock is not designed to secure the contents.
