Known in France as a confiturier, this small cabinet would have been used in a kitchen in the early 1900s. Designed to hold canned jams and jellies, it would have functioned as a small pantry. The oak wood has been bleached more recently, leaving the cabinet with an easy color palette to work with.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Light age separations with very light nicks and rubs. Minor evidence of old woodworm. The confiturier has been bleached more recently, with residual traces of the original finish. Functional door lock with two keys.
