This Italian coffee table was hand-carved using walnut wood, some of which is centuries old. The top, for example, is most likely from the 1600s or 1700s, while the highly detailed legs and stretcher are more recent.
CONDITION: Good condition. Sections of the table date to the 17th or 18th century, and have been paired with wood from the 19th century and later. Restoration by professional woodworker to legs and stretcher. Minor nicks and losses to the top, which has an inherent, subtle bend. Light age separations and very light woodworm damage to the legs.
