The carvings of this French overdoor panel have great depth, most noticeably the dog’s head and the two lobed finials flanking the hunt trophy that adorns the main body. The highly impressive carvings give added importance to the piece, which would have hung over the door of a French chateau or hunting lodge around 1900.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Minimal age separations. Very light nicks and rubs.
