A large giltwood wall mirror from the 1800s, in the traditional style of Louis Philippe. Note the upper rounded corners and subtle motifs that include a border of beading and shallow carvings of a ring of foliage, all of which are hallmarks of the glamorous period in French history.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Very light scratches and buildup to glass. The frame has been restored by a professional art restorer, although minor age separations, nicks, and losses remain, revealing red bole, which is a desired trait.
