Measuring 62 1/4 x 46 1/2, this large Louis XV-style giltwood mirror from France can be displayed vertically or horizontally.  The beveled glass is surrounded by a thick frame with several layers of molding adorned with repeating foliage, patterned lozenge, and flowers.

CONDITION: Good antique condition.  Minor losses to gilding and fleabites to frame with light buildup.  The glass is not original.  Very light age separations to frame, with traces of old restoration and touch-ups.  The mirror is still partially encased in a wood crate for protection (the crate is not needed for installation).
