A large Biot jar (from Biot, France), measuring over 39 inches tall, with a diameter of 31 inches. The terracotta jar has a bulbous body with a swirling palette of cream, ochre, beige, and black, in addition to the yellow glazed rim.

CONDITION: Strong antique condition. Slight losses to the glaze, with light rubs to the exterior and minimal losses to the interior. Drain hole. The jar has been professionally restored.
