A wonderful coastal landscape painting of the French Riviera, by Pierre Lemoine (born 1920). The oil painting depicts a chateau in front of L’Esterel, which is a massif, or mountain mass, off the Mediterranean coast of southeast France.

CONDITION: Good condition. Minor craquelure to canvas, with very light nicks to frame. Rigged for hanging purposes. Signed in lower left: “P. Lemoine”.
