This robust pair of limestone entry finials date to circa 1850. The French finials have a pyramidical shape that is softened by several ogee moldings and deep cavetto undercuts. The gray stones have a light mottling of black, ochre, and white, making them attractive garden ornamentals or architecturals for a walkway, gate, or entrance.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate losses, mainly to entablature and the underside of each foot.
