This robust pair of limestone entry finials date to circa 1850.  The French finials have a pyramidical shape that is softened by several ogee moldings and deep cavetto undercuts.  The gray stones have a light mottling of black, ochre, and white, making them attractive garden ornamentals or architecturals for a walkway, gate, or entrance.

CONDITION: Good antique condition.  Commensurate losses, mainly to entablature and the underside of each foot.
