Hand-carved in Turin, Italy, during the 1800s, this pair of tabouret stools has animal motifs in the form of four paw feet and mascarons of dogs and lions. The wood frames have been hand-painted in a light gray, with comfortable white muslin upholstery on the seats.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. The upholstery has been added more recently, but there is still some age, as evidenced by light age separations. Minor rubs and paint losses, with very light losses to the wood.
