The weathered appearance of these French hunt trophies is accentuated by the variegated colors of the natural oak panels. Both panels, which date to circa 1890, depict a felled bird surmounting the oval backing.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. One bird has been professionally restored. Very light age separations to wood (more pronounced on one). Minor rubs to metal. Rigged for hanging. One of the birds has some slight movement, but it is very secure.
