Hand-carved in the Neoclassical style, these Italian limestone pedestals are capable of supporting large statues. Each pedestal has been carved into three sections, with the upper and lower pieces having thick, curvaceous ogee moldings. In between is a rectangular stone that has been delicately embellished on each side with a recessed rectangle with canted corners. The stones have developed a wonderful patina, giving the dark gray pedestals areas of lighter gray, black, and green hues. Robust and elegant, these Neoclassical-style pedestals can be positioned to flank a driveway or walkway, supporting large limestone or marble statues.

*For shipping and transportation purposes, the pedestals are comprised of three stones each. We have placed foam between the sections to protect the stones. The foam will not be used in an installation.*

CONDITION: Very good condition with minor buildup and very light nicks and rubs. Striations seen on top are the result of the previous placement of large statues. One of the pedestals has a small loss to the center stone (please see detail photos). Limestone can change color with exposure to the elements. Please contact us for photos of the current patina.
