At only 24 1/4 inches tall, this Louis Philippe-style mirror would make an attractive looking glass for a smaller setting, such as a boudoir, bathroom, or hallway. Hand-carved in France, circa 1870, the petite mirror has all the hallmarks of Louis Philippe offerings, such as the rounded upper corners, subtle carvings, and the beautiful gilding.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor nicks and age separations, revealing the presence of red bole, which is a highly sought-after appearance. Very light loss of silver to glass, which is also desired. Not rigged for hanging.
