This fascinating set of wrought iron scrolled elements once graced the edifice of a French chateau in the early 1800s. The large volutes have numerous smaller offshoots that create an interconnected labyrinth of whorls.

CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate oxidation as a result of losses to the finish and exposure to the elements. Fleabites and minor rubs. One of the elements has been strengthened by a professional metalworker.
