A collaboration between the French sculptors Alfred Barye and Émile-Coriolan Guillemin, this bronze sculpture is entitled Cavalier Arabe, and depicts a Moor horseman returning from a successful hunt.  Wearing a head turban and detailed riding apparel, the hunter has two felled game slung over the back of his tasseled saddle, with his long rifle slung over a shoulder and several swords tucked into a holster on his hip.

CONDITION:  Very good condition.  Light rubs and minor buildup.  Signed by both artists on the base.
