This shapely cast stone wall fountain is from France and dates to circa the 1970s. The demi-lune basin is adorned with a cavetto undercut above and below the thick quarter-round molding. The back wall, which was cast separately, depicts a mascaron spout above a fleur de lys with extended tendrils. Additional motifs include a scalloped shell crest, chandelle columns with leaf cup capitals, and curled acanthus.
CONDITION: Good condition. There is an age separation on the wall, but the wall is very sturdy. No spout. Remnants of previous installation (bracket, screw, etc.) Please see photos.
