This wrought iron door knocker, which dates to circa the 1800s, is adorned with a repeating chevron motif on the handle. The thick loop of the attaching pin connects the handle to a four inch spiked radial backplate. Originally from Spain or Portugal, this Iberian door knocker would make a wonderful architectural for any door.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Very light rubs and minor oxidation. Fleabites to some tips of the backplate. There is no strike pad.
